Cairo
Kemet, The Black Land
"A life in Egypt is not in the Nile: without the Nile, in Egypt it would be only after the Libyan Desert, next to the Red Sea. Assim, it is the most fertile country in which a man was given to see.
O Egypt is a huge celeiro and a huge sepulchre."
- Eça De Queiroz -
“The sun, the water, the rivers, and the fountains, generally speaking, all that is beneficial to our lives, the ancients are useful for their usefulness, just as the Egyptians use them as the Nile, and the quest of the land was named Demeter, and the wine for Dionysus, and the water for Poseidon, and the “I burn for Hephaestus and also for every useful thing we do.”
- Prodicus (-460–-380 BC) -
Prepare yourself for a unique day in Cairo, where past and present intertwine in a vibrant adventure of culture and emotion.
In front of the grandiose Pyramids of Gizé, we feel adrenaline and how small we feel, as we contemplate the vastness of the desert on one side and the chaos of the city on the other; everything is connected with millennia of history. Each block of stone echoes two ancient pharaohs, making this experience unforgettable.
Mergulha in the agitation of the Khan el-Khalili market, where the aroma of spices and the noise of two vendors create a unique symphony; Now the typical noise of the market, the traffic, the street food, the bandages, the shopping, the animals, the people. Challenge yourself to bargain for local colors among the vibrant cores and fascinating textures of this market. Visit the mosques and the Coptic part, the churches, and see how the two great religions are kept side by side.
